On January 25, 2021, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a new instruction regarding foreign nationals who are in Canada with a letter of introduction following the approval of their study and work permits.
Such foreign nationals will be able to receive their new status documents from within Canada using the IRCC Web – form provided they maintain valid status.
The instruction also includes response templates for those who aren’t eligible and adding more detail to officers’ instructions.
