Sudbury considered 48 applications under the RNIP

On December 15, 2022, the City of Greater Sudbury held a new round of invitations for the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In this round, Sudbury considered 48 candidates. The lowest score of these draws was 180 points, 125 points fewer than in the previous draw. All applicants had one eligible occupation and now receive over $20 per hour. This year, in total, 154 applicants have been invited. Sudbury has recommended at least 225 individuals under the RNIP since the program’s launch. The city will continue to invite candidates in January 2023.
