Ottawa introduced a new update for International Experience Canada applications

On May 31, 2022, the Government of Canada published a new program delivery update regarding the International Experience Canada applications. According to the new instructions, candidates applying under the Young Professionals category are eligible to apply only if the job offer is in the applicant’s field of study and contributes to their professional development. These instructions are also applicable to applicants who want to work in the agricultural industry. The Young Professionals category is for international applicants who want to work in Canada as part of a pre-arranged contract of employment in order to enhance their professional development. To be considered professional experience, the job offered in Canada must be classified as National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill type level 0, A, or B.
