One-third of immigrants can leave Canada in the next two years

On March 23, 2022, Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC) published a new national survey conducted by Leger. According to the results of the survey, around 30% of immigrants aged 18 to 34 who recently moved to Canada plan to move to another country in the next two years. The survey also revealed another disturbing picture: 23% of college-educated immigrants are also likely to leave the country in the next couple of years. Survey findings also showed that many immigrants think that Canadians don’t understand the challenges that immigrants face.
