Canada experiences a record low unemployment rates

According to the latest Statistics Canada reports, Canada’s unemployment rate has hit a new record low once again. Statistics Canada says it dropped to 5.2% in April, down from the previous all-time high of 5.3% set in March. The overall unemployment rate for people aged 25 to 54 is currently at 4.3 percent, which is the lowest recorded figure since comparable statistics were made available in 1976. The unemployment rate among immigrants decreased to 5.5 percent in April, down from 5.8 percent in March.
