On March 24, 2022, the Government of British Columbia introduced the 2021 British Columbia Newcomers’ Guide to Resources and Services. The guide is in ten languages: English, Arabic, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Farsi, French, Korean, Punjabi, Spanish, and Tagalog. It intends to help new immigrants settle into the province quickly and easily. In the new newcomers’ guide, immigrants can find information about finding a place to live, finding a doctor and medical services, getting government services, studying or working in the province, opening a bank account, or obtaining a driver’s license in the province.
